Provides in-depth coverage on the importance of the natural environment and how to protect its many resources for future generations. Outlines many of the national and international environmental problems associated with resource management and conservation, and reviews legislative, technological and methodological solutions to these problems. Field trips to natural reserves and to other appropriate sites will be an integral component of this course. It is highly recommended that students enrolling in this course have taken high school biology and high school chemistry.
