SOCI - 299
Catalog Year: 2017
This course introduces students to the field of generational dynamics and acquaints learners with how generational differences and similarities affect American society. This course considers how the interactions between America's living generations (Millennials, GenX'ers, Baby Boomers, Silents, and, G.I.s) disrupt business, government, education, religion, and other sectors. From one generation to the next, there are sub-sets of diversities as well. This course will focus on generational workforce diversity, generational marketplace diversity, and generational political, government, and leadership dynamics. This course seeks to create an understanding of each generation to guide student's critical thinking, as this is essential knowledge that permeates everyday life in the United States.
