Adults Back @ College

Students on computers

Ocean County College’s grant funded Adults Back@College Program (AB@C) offers assistance to adult learners who previously attended OCC and left before completing their degree. AB@C provides support to adults who are managing school with other life responsibilities. The goal of the AB@C program is to help adult students achieve their educational goals.

“According to the US Department of Labor (2009), employment in occupations requiring associate degrees will increase more rapidly than employment in any other education or training category through 2018. The majority of new jobs that will be created by 2014 will require some college education.”
-American Association of Community Colleges web site, 2010
