Returning Full-Time and Returning Part-Time Students
Returning students are encouraged to register for classes promptly each semester in order to ensure their best schedule.

When you are ready to register, follow these steps:
View your “My Progress” screen on Student Planning to figure out which courses you need to take. You can access Student Planning via logging into Ocean Connect.
Add Courses and Sections to your plan prior to registration, then just click “Register Now” when registration opens.

- See your Advisor for help
- Come to the Advising Office and let us know you want to learn how to use Student Planning
See your advisor to make sure you’re taking the right classes.
Don’t know who your advisor is?
Log on to Ocean Connect . . . . Click WebAdvisor. . . .Click “Students”. . . . .Click “My Profile”. Your advisor or advising department is listed in your Academic Profile.
Email your advisor, or stop by their office, to set up an appointment.
Register and pay for your courses.
Most students can register for their courses online. In Student Planning, go to the Plan and Schedule tab. When you have added your courses and course sections, just click “Register Now”.

It’s easy . . . just see the Cashier’s Office to set up your payment schedule.

Click “Student Finance” on Ocean Connect to start the process.
You can apply for a Foundation Scholarship?
Go to go.ocean.edu/scholarships for more information including application deadlines.
Students without online access, or students experiencing difficulties registering online, can also register in person in the Office of Registration & Records, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
