Now Is the Best Time to Register for Classes at OCC

All student services offices are open to assist you in person! The HUB, Advising, Financial Aid, Registration and Records, Disability Services, Student Support Services, Counseling Center, EOF/C4AE, Tutoring Center, and Testing Center are operating during their standard hours! For office hours visit our College Hours page.

Register Now!

You can select your courses and register online for Fall 2024 Term starting March 26th. Check out the Search for Courses page to see the following course offerings in the terms below:

Spring 2024

  • 2024 Accelerated Two starts on 03/25/2024

Fall 2024

  • 2024 Fall Term starts on 09/04/2024
  • 2024 Accelerated Five starts on 09/04/2024
  • 2024 Fall Quick Term starts on 10/09/2024
  • 2024 Accelerated Six starts on 10/28/2024

How do I register for my first semester?

Step One: Apply to OCC at www.ocean.edu. Visit THE HUB (in-person or online)  for more information.

Step Two: Register for a New Student Registration Date!

  • Meet with an advisor
  • Discuss major
  • Register for fall

Students can now register for upcoming April and May dates!

*Do you attend a high school in Ocean County? Ask your guidance counselor if your school is scheduled to visit OCC for a HS Pathways Date!

What do I need to send to OCC?

  • Students who plan to take pre-calculus/calculus must contact their high school to request a transcript and email to registrar@ocean.edu to request higher-level math evaluation.
  • Do you have AP Scores or Credits from another institution? Send AP scores directly through College Board or send official transcripts to registrar@ocean.edu
  • Select your courses and register using Student Planning using these Step-by-Step instructions (PDF).
  • Visit our Advising Videos Playlist for video tutorials on how to plan and register for your next semester.
  • Need help? Contact your assigned advisor.
    • To locate your assigned advisor follow the steps below:
      1. Log into Ocean Connect
      2. Go to Student Planning
      3. Select “Plan & Schedule”
      4. Click the “Advising” tab
  • Having trouble locating your advisor?
  • Apply to OCC
  • Submit Transcripts: Students transferring credits from another institution should arrange for official transcripts to be sent to the Office of Registration & Records for evaluation. Once transcript evaluation is completed, you will be informed which courses have been accepted for transfer towards an OCC degree.

Visiting students are students currently enrolled at another institution. These students take classes at OCC to transfer back to their home institution.

Non-Degree students are students not pursuing a degree or certificate at OCC, but are taking classes for reasons such as completing prerequisites or personal enrichment.

*Visiting and Non-degree students do not need to demonstrate college readiness or have prerequisite courses in order to register at OCC.

Students that have Ocean County College-issued Chromebooks, and are continuing their remote education in one of the Spring 2023 terms, are permitted to continue using the laptop to access their courses.
