DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify\, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. This course will also cover how to interact with a person in crisis and connect a person with help. \n\n\nPlease note: This event is open to both students and employees. \nThis is a blended course that includes a 2-hour\, self-paced online course to be completed by Wednesday\, 8/5 before the in-person Instructor-led training on Wednesday\, 8/12. \nLimited spots available\, please RSVP by Friday\, 7/31 at counselingservices@ocean.edu or by using the RSVP form on this page. A confirmation email will be sent from counselingservices@ocean.edu within 48 business hours of your RSVP.
