DESCRIPTION:Ghettoization marked the first phase of Jewish isolation and destruction Women in the ghettos struggled to feed their families and create a sense of normalcy in the face of constant uncertainty. The final phase was deportation to concentration and death camps where women endured beatings\, rape\, starvation\, and forced labor.
