TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County College Foundation will its hold its 2020 Scholarship Celebration on Friday, June 12, at 6:00 pm on the College’s Main Campus in Toms River.
Scholarship Celebration proceeds benefit the mission of the OCC Foundation, a private non-profit organization celebrating more than 50 years of outstanding service. The Foundation is dedicated to the growth and development of the College through scholarships, endowments, and capital and special projects — all to help students fulfill their dreams of a college education.
This year, the Foundation will honor the 200 Club of Ocean County in recognition of its service to the community and its support of Ocean County College. The 200 Club is dedicated to providing financial assistance and comfort to families of law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel in the event of their death or injury. The organization’s motto is “We Remember,” meaning that long after the event has passed, the Club will remember these individuals and assist their family members. Since its inception in 1985, the organization has contributed more than $250,000 to the Dollars for Scholars Campaign.
