TOMS RIVER, NJ — Frank Suter Jr., a veteran of the Vietnam War who served in the Navy from 1969 to 1973, is now a student at Ocean County College, where he is pursuing an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science.

Suter chose OCC in large part because of the College’s on-campus resources. “OCC is a veteran-orientated school that provides many opportunities to its students,” he stated.

Through OCC’s Veterans’ Services, veteran- and military-affiliated students have access to advisement, advocacy, mentoring, on- and off-campus referral measures, peer-to-peer coaching and socializing, Veteran Affairs Transition Care Management availability, and events and opportunities designed specifically for the veteran and military services community.

Stop by the Veterans’ Services Office on the second floor of the Larson Student Center – on OCC’s main campus on College Drive in Toms River – to learn more!
