Certified Medication Aide

Expand your employment opportunities and increase your earnings potential through Medication Aide Certification.

The Certified Medication Aide program is a state regulated training and certification program that prepares Certified Nurse Aides to administer medications in an Assisted Living setting.

*This certification is available for all New Jersey residents who meet the program prerequisites. Our course is approved by the NJ Department of Nursing governing medication aides.

Students receive instruction and training in:

  • The preparation and administration of medications.
  • Observing, reporting, and documenting resident’s status.
  • Reviewing principles of safety.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of measurement systems, body systems, and common diseases.
