OCC’s Counseling Center events offer a variety of workshops and community events throughout the year. These events are designed to bring mental health awareness and support to the campus community.

Relax and Recharge

Learn new ways to relax, reduce stress, and increase focus with our Relax and Recharge meditation session.

The Campus Recovery Network

The Recovery Support Program at OCC is now online via Canvas! Students can self-enroll in “The Campus Recovery Network” for information, resources, virtual support meetings, personal recovery coaching, online discussions, and more. Self-enroll online!

CCAR Recovery Coach Academy Training

Interested in becoming a Recovery Coach? The Recovery Support Program at OCC is offering the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy Training over winter break! Join us on campus for an intensive, 5-day training on Recovery Coaching. Upon completion, you will meet the education requirement for the NJ Peer Recovery Specialist Certification.

Wellness Workshops

*Join us the first Tuesday of every month from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in the Library (Bldg. #3), room 017 for a workshop focused on mental health and wellness!

Each month will be centered on a different theme, and will provide education, support and resources in a welcoming group setting.
