Know the Signs. Know How to Respond.

In recognition of National Recovery Month, the OCC Counseling Center invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend an Opioid Overdose & Naloxone Training presented in partnership with the Ocean County Health Department.

This informative training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and respond effectively in an emergency.

Participants will learn:

  • How to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
  • How naloxone (Narcan) works to reverse an overdose
  • When and how to administer naloxone
  • Where to access local resources and naloxone (Narcan) kits

RSVP is encouraged but not required.
