Any student who believes he or she has been harmed by the interpretation, application, or violation of college policies and/or procedures may file a complaint. The staff of the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs will monitor the timing of responses, activity, and prepare reports on activity and any trends in student formal complaints.
The complaint shall be handled in accordance with the appropriate procedure approved by the President.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
The MSCHE provides opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and members of the public to submit information regarding the qualifications for accreditation of its member institutions. Complaints provide information and evidence regarding an institution’s compliance with the Commission’s standards for accreditation, requirements of affiliation, and policies and procedures.

Office of the Secretary of Higher Education of NJ (OSHE)
If a complaint cannot be resolved after exhausting Ocean County College procedures, the student may file a complaint with the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education of NJ.
