School of Nursing NCLEX-RN® Results and Program Completion Rate

Completion of the National Licensure Examination (NCLEX®)

Graduates of Ocean County College (OCC) School of Nursing are required to pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN®) to practice as a Registered Nurse. OCC School of Nursing prepares graduates to take this examination upon completion of the program.

To maintain accreditation, OCC’s NCLEX score for graduates taking the examination for the first time are required to be above 80%.

The 2025 scores for the time period between January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 were:

86.1% – All Associate Degree Programs (National Score)

86.7% – All Nursing Programs (National Score)

95.49% – OCC’s score
