Ocean County College Band Honors All Who Serve in “A Salute to Service”

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — The Ocean County College Concert Band will present its spring concert, “A Salute to Service,” on Saturday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grunin Center for the Arts, located on the OCC main campus on College Drive in Toms River. Tickets are on sale now. 

The community is invited to join the OCC band for an inspiring evening of music and gratitude. “A Salute to Service” is dedicated to honoring those who serve, past and present, in military, public safety, and community roles. Under the direction of Anthony Tafrow, the ensemble brings together a stirring program of patriotic classics, rousing marches, contemporary works inspired by service and sacrifice, and heartfelt tributes to the spirit of duty and freedom. 

Enjoy powerful musical selections that celebrate service and country, including “Arlington (Where Giants Sleep), “The Greatest Generation,” “Look Homeward Citizen Soldier,” “God Bless the USA,” and many more.
