Raul Midón Takes the Stage at the Grunin Center’s Prima Theatre

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (April 13, 2026) — The Jay and Linda Grunin Center for the Arts welcomes Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and virtuoso guitarist Raul Midón to the Gia Maione Prima Foundation Studio Theatre on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $35.

Blind since infancy, Raul Midón has built an international career defined by musical innovation. Known for his distinctive blend of jazz, soul, folk, and pop as well as his technical skill and expressive vocals, Midón’s work has drawn comparisons to artists such as Stevie Wonder, Bobby McFerrin, and José Feliciano. A master of cross-genre collaboration, he has worked with countless legends in the industry, including Bill Withers, Herbie Hancock and Sting.

Midón has released multiple albums throughout his career, receiving two back-to-back Grammy nominations in the Best Jazz Vocal category for his albums “Bad Ass and Blind” (2017) and “If You Really Want” (2018). His 14th and latest album, “Lost & Found,” is a celebration of redemption, with lyrics inspired by Bob Dylan’s reading of his poem, “Last Thoughts on Woody Guthrie.”

This one-night performance is funded in part by the Ocean County College Foundation.
