  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday – 8:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Degree Seeking

  • File your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at www.fafsa.ed.gov
    • (OCC’s Federal School Code: 002624)

If you are enrolled in a degree program you’ll need to demonstrate college-level skills in English and Mathematics. Options include:

Submit High School Transcripts

Submit Qualifying Test Scores

College Placement Test

Higher Level Placement

The Advising Office (Building #9) is open on a walk in basis:

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday:
    • 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday:
    • 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Friday:
    • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Payment Plans and Financial Aid information are available online through Ocean Connect
  • Students can obtain an OCC ID card with The Hub.
  • Books are included in most courses.  Find out more information here.
  • Books are available for purchase about 2-3 weeks before the start of the term.
  • Classes are available in Canvas on your first day of the term
  • Complete your Immunization Form.

Non-Degree

Non-Degree students are taking classes for reasons such as completing prerequisites or personal enrichment.

  • Register for classes through Student Planning on the Ocean Connect portal.
    • Ocean Connect >Student Planning >Accept Terms > Search for Courses
  • Pay your balance or set up a tuition payment plan online through Ocean Connect
    • Click on Student Finance and select Make a Payment
    • Click the Payment link at the top
    • Select Enroll Today
    • Select Proceed to Processor
  • Non-Degree students are not eligible for financial aid.
  • Books are included in most courses.  Find out more information here.
  • Books are available for purchase about 2-3 weeks before the start of the term.
  • Classes are available in Canvas on your first day of the term

Visiting

Visiting students are currently enrolled at another institution and are taking classes to transfer back to their home institution.

  • Register for classes through Student Planning on the Ocean Connect portal.
    • Ocean Connect >Student Planning >Accept Terms > Search for Courses
  • Send an unofficial transcript from your current institution or a photocopy of your School ID to registrar@ocean.edu
  • Pay your balance or set up a tuition payment plan online through Ocean Connect
    • Click on Student Finance and select Make a Payment
    • Click the Payment link at the top
    • Select Enroll Today
    • Select Proceed to Processor

Get Involved!

OCC offers a variety of ways to get involved! The Student Life Office has over 60 active clubs and organizations, intramural and club sports, as well as student leadership opportunities.

In addition, OCC is home to 14 competitive NJCAA intercollegiate athletic teams.
