What You Will Learn
Ocean County College’s Environmental Health program provides students with foundational knowledge in environmental safety, public health, and workplace hazard prevention. Students learn to identify and assess environmental and occupational risks while developing practical skills used in environmental health and safety careers. Industry-recognized Industrial Hygiene and Hazardous Materials certifications will be earned upon successful completion, which will prepare students to transfer to a four-year institution or pursue entry-level positions in public health, environmental health, safety, and regulatory compliance fields.
