The Mathematics Education Concentration offers three tracks to accommodate students at different levels of preparation. Choose the track that best reflects your current skills and academic goals.
Algebra Track: For students who need to build foundational math skills before advancing to higher-level coursework. This track provides the mathematical groundwork necessary to progress toward calculus and the content knowledge required for mathematics education programs.
Precalculus Track: Designed for students with a solid algebra background who are preparing to move into calculus. This track bridges foundational math and the technical coursework required for mathematics education transfer programs.
Calculus Track: Ideal for students who are ready to begin calculus immediately. This track is the most direct pathway toward transfer to a four-year mathematics education program and is recommended for students with strong math preparation.
