The Associated Students of Ocean County College exists to further the well-being of the students, to serve as a channel of communication between the students and the administration, and to cooperate closely with the faculty and administration in maintaining academic and social standards of excellence. This body will be authorized by the President of the College to administer, under specific conditions, a number of procedures and regulations pertaining to student life. The philosophy of the associated Students of Ocean County College is individual integrity and group responsibility.

Ellie is involved in SGA to advocate for and represent all students while working to improve daily campus life.

Ryan became involved with SGA in his first semester because he wanted to contribute to his college and help improve the student experience by putting students first.

Trish wanted to be involved with student government because she wanted to serve the community of OCC.

Sabrina acknowledges that she is lucky enough to have the ability to advocate for herself, a skill not all have. Using this skill on a larger scale, Sabrina wants to be able to help others advocate for themselves and what they believe in!

Rivkie joined SGA to make a difference, tackle accessibility, and be a voice for neurodivergent students.

Daisy is involved in SGA because she wants to be engaged on campus and help create positive change in our school community.

Alex is involved in Student Government to make a difference at the school, and because he enjoys being part of the behind-the-scenes work at OCC.

Danielle is involved in Student Government to help out as much as she can and be an active part of the school community.

Kate joined Student Government because she wants to actively represent the student voice, especially Spanish-speaking students, by addressing the issues that affect their daily lives and working collaboratively to bring about positive change on campus.
