The communicative approach to language learning is used to develop the beginning skills. Students are provided with a basic vocabulary to enable them to enjoy simple communicative exchanges. Audio as well as possibly some computer-based material is used to reinforce and expand the skills program in the classroom. This course is for beginning students or students who have taken one year or less of high school Spanish.

AP Precalculus | Precalculus Techniques and Applications | This is an accelerated review of algebraic, geometric, and trigonometric topics for the highly motivated student. Critical thinking skills will be developed through the study of polynomial, rational, trigonometric, logarithmic, and exponential functions and their graphs from algebraic, analytic, and geometric perspectives. Other topics to be studied are system of equations and inequalities, matrices and determinants, sequences and series, and mathematical induction.
