Full Day to New York City!

*EVENT UPDATE 9/24/26*

We have been monitoring the situation with the impending nor’easter all week long as we know this will impact your plans to walk around the city this Saturday for our first Full Day Trip to NYC of the semester. Unfortunately, the forecast does NOT look good.

Out of an abundance of caution and safety, we are cancelling the trip for Saturday, September 26 to NYC.
NJ and NY will have rain, stronger winds (50+ mph gusts), and moderate coastal flooding. This decision is made with an abundance of caution and we thank you for understanding.

There are TWO upcoming Full Day to NYC trip opportunities:
Saturday, October 17th and Saturday, December 5th

We would be happy to add you to one of the upcoming trips OR we will issue you a refund for your spot. Please email us (studentlife@ocean.edu) and let us know your preference ASAP!

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience regarding this weekend’s trip, but we believe this decision is in everyone’s best interest.

Our first trip of the semester is starting off with a FULL DAY to New York City! This is a self-guided, drop-off style Student Life trip where you can spend the entire day in the city and explore however you’d like!

Details:

• Bus leaves at OCC Lot #2 at 9:00am, please arrive to the lot no later than 8:45am.
• The bus will drop off at 2 locations: San Gennaro Festival and The Metropolitan Museum of Art
• Bus pick-up will start at the Metropolitan Museum at 5:30pm and pick-up at Times Square at 5:45pm to leave NYC by 6:00pm.
• Ticket pricing:
  • Students: $15
  • Faculty/Staff/Alumni: $20
  • Guests: $25

This trip is open to students, faculty, and staff at Ocean County College. For tickets and more information, please visit the Student Life Box Office in the Student Center (Building 8).
