The “See Me, Walk” will be held during National Mental Wellness Awareness Month (October) and take part of the “Fall Fest” at Ocean County College (10/22) on Campus Mall (gathering by arches outside of HUB and walking around the loop of Campus Mall).

· The “See Me, Walk” will aim to shed visibility on both, the importance of mental wellness and the intersectionality of participants engaged in the event. In addition to “numbers,” participants will be provided with a t-shirt they can design and highlight the various identities they wish to disclose for the event (e.g race, gender, sexual/affectional orientation, disability, immigration, class, languages etc).

· Participants will also have the options to choose “Color Beads” to wear providing further insights to others related to their experiences and support for Mental Illness (e.g I wear Black beads in support of the Black/African Community impacted by Mental Illness). Additionally, resources from the Counseling Center and Community orgs will be made available at a designated “Table” for participants to normalize and encourage asking for supports for Mental Wellness.
