Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) Grants

Ocean County College has received authorization and funding through the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) to disburse federal emergency grants to students. The link below will take you to an application form that is designed to help us understand your circumstances and needs. The federal government has clarified that funds must be reserved to provide students with financial aid grants, which may be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.

Please follow the instructions on the HEERF application and submit it to be considered for an emergency grant.

Workforce & Professional Education, WPE at OCC aims to empower individuals, as well as local businesses, by providing affordable, student-centered, high-quality vocational and professional development opportunities with clear pathways to success.

WPE offers a wide variety of workforce-related courses for training, professional education, and pathways to degree programs for community members and incumbent workers. These offerings are focused on revitalizing careers, reskilling workers, and gaining new credentials to assist employers in growing their business. WPE also offers a number of exciting apprenticeship opportunities and work-based learning that benefit both participating students and their employers.

OCC currently works with many employers and public entities in Ocean County to provide training for incumbent workers in a variety of areas. Training can be customized to an employer’s individual needs and, in many cases, may be grant-funded and tuition-free.
