Due to the forecast of inclement weather, Ocean County College’s Commencement Ceremony has been postponed to Thursday, May 22, at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony has also been moved indoors to the Gym (Bldg. #29) and due to space constraints will be limited to graduates only.
The primary goal of the New Jersey Southern Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (NJSJSHS) is to promote research and experimentation in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics at the high school level, and to publicly recognize students for outstanding achievement. The event includes presentations from New Jersey high school students on their individual science research projects. Schools are welcome to register and compete for scholarship monies.
The Army Education Outreach Program’s (AEOP) Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) Program is jointly sponsored by the Department of Defense and the Department of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, in cooperation with leading research universities throughout the nation. The Department of Defense generously provides funding for the National symposium and JSHS scholarships.
