Ocean County College (OCC) and Stockton University have partnered to offer a clear, supportive path from an associate to a bachelor’s degree. This transfer program is designed to help you move forward with confidence, offering structure, flexibility, and guidance every step of the way. Whether you’re pursuing business, hospitality, marketing, management, or accounting, you’ll follow a focused plan that keeps you on track from your first semester at OCC to your final year at Stockton.
Program Highlights
- Transfer up to 90 credits from OCC into select Stockton University bachelor’s programs.
- Spend three years at OCC, then complete your final year at Stockton — a seamless 3+1 structure.

Eligibility
OCC students looking to enter the program must meet the following eligibility:
- Students must be enrolled in or completed a degree program at OCC with a GPA of 2.0 or above.
- The Student must have maintained good academic, behavioral, and financial standing.
- Specific coursework will be required to obtain the Associate & Bachelor’s degree.

- Stockton University and Ocean County College have entered an agreement for their Bachelors of Science in Social Work program. Students will be able to complete the AS Social Work degree and seamlessly transfer into the Stockton BSW. This is a 2+2 program structure.

- Stockton has rolling admissions.
- Students are encouraged to apply in February for a fall start, and September for Spring start

- OCC students can take coursework in-person, online, or HyFlex (when available)
- Stockton coursework will be in person at the Stockton Campus.

Transfer Pathways
The Transfer Pathways helps students transfer from OCC to Stockton University. Students can transfer to a variety of programs, including 2+2 and 3+1 for Business and Hospitality Majors. Dual Admission is available with additional benefits such as living on campus, accessing Stockton student activities, obtaining paid internships, and transferring up to half a degree.
- With the 3+1 Program between Ocean County College and Stockton University, students will have the opportunity to complete a degree program in OCC’s new Advanced and Continuing Studies associate degree program. Once completed, students can transfer up to 90 credits directly to Stockton’s equivalent degree program.
Transfer Process
- Meet with Enrico DeRooy online or in person to discuss the program and transfer to Stockton University. Follow up with an OCC Academic Advisor to add your third year.
- Apply to Stockton and send your OCC Transcripts through the National Student Clearinghouse.
