Join us for Fresh Check Day, a mental health awareness event hosted by the OCC Counseling Center in partnership with the Jordan Porco Foundation. This uplifting day will feature interactive wellness activities, self-care stations, and resources for suicide prevention and mental health support. Connect with OCC staff, faculty, and local community partners who care about your well-being.

Minding Your Mind – Speaker: Colin
Date: Tuesday, November 4

Colin, an advocate and survivor, shares his personal story with mental health, including struggles with anxiety, depression, and substance use. He reflects on how he overcame his darkest days throughout high school as a student and athlete. Colin opens up about the steps he took to find himself and achieve wellness today.
Minding Your Mind’s primary objective is to provide mental health education to adolescents, teens, young adults, parents, teachers, and school administrators. Our goal is to reduce the stigma and destructive behaviors often associated with mental health issues.
Funding is provided by the OCC Foundation in support of the Garrett Lee Smith Suicide Prevention Grant Program. This program is free and open to the public.
