The coaches

Student Success Coach
Calleigh, BS

Hello! My name is Calleigh Kearns and I have been working as a Success Coach at OCC since March of this year! I graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I also studied Education and Human Services! I love coaching because I have a passion for helping students throughout their entire collegiate experience. My time as a college student and my career in Higher Education has given me the skills needed to help assist students with problems both big and small! Outside of work, I enjoy going to the beach, dancing, and listening to live music.

Academic Coach, Title III
Breanna, MS

Hello, my name is Breanna and I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Personnel from Shippensburg University. I feel as though my purpose in life is to help and serve those around me, this is why I enjoy academic coaching. With my counseling skills, I am able to assist our students in a unique and dynamic way. When I am not working I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and finding new places to explore!

Student Success Coach
Melissa, MS

Hello! My name is Melissa Gutzmore and I have been a Student Affairs Professional for over six years. As a Student Success Coach here at OCC, my goal is for our students to feel empowered to be the best version of themselves holistically. With my background in student leadership and engagement, I have a unique ability to connect with students in a way that makes me relatable and challenges them into being an active participant in achieving their goals. My purpose in life is inspiring joy and mindfulness, along with being a mental health & wellness advocate. All of these attributes help me as a Success Coach to serve our students with ultimate customer service, empathy, and care. When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, playing with my dog, and reading.

Jenna - Student Success

Student Success Coach
Jenna, MFA

Hi! My name is Jenna, and I have worked in higher education since 2019. Prior to becoming a Student Success Coach, I served as an Enrollment Services Advisor, English adjunct professor, and writing tutor. I started my studies at OCC, and I have my MFA in Creative Writing from Monmouth University. When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, relaxing at the beach, and attending concerts! I love coaching because, as a first-generation student, my greatest passion is to help college feel accessible and achievable for everyone. I look forward to working with you!
