Visiting & Non-degree Students (Not Completing an OCC Degree)
- Visiting students are students currently enrolled at another institution. These students take classes at OCC to transfer back to their home institution.
- Non-Degree students are students not pursuing a degree or certificate at OCC, but are taking classes for reasons such as completing prerequisites or personal enrichment.
Visiting and Non-Degree students do not need to select a degree or certificate at OCC.
Students currently enrolled at another institution should apply as ND.VS (Visiting Student)
Students taking courses at OCC, but not pursuing a degree or certificate at OCC, should apply as a ND.ND (Non-Degree Student)

Visiting and Non-Degree students do not need to demonstrate perquisite courses in order to register. Students are encouraged to make sure they have taken the necessary coursework in order to be successful in the classes they choose at OCC.
- Visiting Students must confirm with their home institution that credits taken at OCC will transfer to their home institution. Some institutions require that students receive approval prior to enrolling at a course at another institution.
- Non-Degree Students taking prerequisite courses for admission to a program must verify the required coursework with the school/program in which they plan to apply.
- Students who need a syllabus should refer to the Simple Syllabus Library
- Students who need a copy of a course description should refer to the College Catalog
- Students who need an official transcript can order an Official Transcript online
