The Workforce and Professional Education department at Ocean County College offers dedicated and driven students the opportunity to receive financial assistance through the H. Hovnanian Foundation School of Nursing and Health Sciences Grant. The grant can help pay for as much as half of the cost of some healthcare courses. Students enrolled in the following courses are encouraged to apply:
- Veterinary Assistant
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Dental Assisting
- Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
- Phlebotomy Technician
- Patient Care Technician
SCC5 Health First New Jersey-Healthcare Training Grant Opportunities
Ocean County College received a four-year Strengthening Community Colleges Training Grant (SCC5) from the US Department of Labor (USDOL) to build capacity to meet the skill development needs of healthcare employers and support students in obtaining good jobs in the healthcare industry.
