Transfer Events

Transfer events allow you to discuss degrees, programs & courses, campus life, and more with representatives from schools you’d like to explore. View events, such as Instant Decision Days, Campus Visits and Information Sessions, for these four-year institutions.

Transfer Fair
Thursday, October 6
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Campus Mall*

Representatives from over 40 Colleges and Universities will be available to discuss transfer opportunities.

*Rain Location: HPEC Gymnasium #130A/B

1. Target colleges that fit your educational and personal goals
(e.g. major, location, athletics, etc.)

2. Speak with the Transfer Counselors about the college.
Some questions you might want to ask include:

What qualities are you looking for in a transfer student?
What is the average class size (teacher to student ratio) in general? In my major?
Would you please speak about housing for transfer students?
What services are available for transfer students?
Can you tell me about your financial aid and scholarship packages?

3. Browse other colleges you might not have previously considered (only fill
out information cards for colleges that you are considering attending).

Tips for After The Transfer Fair

Review your materials and notes regarding the colleges you are considering
Visit the colleges’ websites and set up a time to meet representatives on
Research application deadlines and processes.

Georgian Court University Georgian Court is a small private University, located in Ocean County approximately 5 miles from OCC! We have over 30 academic majors, highlighted by our School of Education and School of Nursing & Wellness as our most popular programs. We are excited to be launching a new major in the School of Business for Sports Management. We also have a new athletic program coming to GCU in Fall 2023, which is Acrobatics and Tumbling for women student athletes. Georgian Court is embarking on a total remodeling and modernization of our main campus, which is being called “Renew GCU”. This project will bring forth a state of the art student center, renovations and updates to our residence halls, and a brand new Nursing and Health Science center which will be built in the center of our beautiful campus in Lakewood, NJ!
