Foundation Scholarships

Through the generosity of individuals, organizations, and companies in the area, the Ocean County College Foundation awards a number of scholarships to deserving students. Each year the Foundation awards over $500,000.00 in scholarship support.

The Ocean County College Foundation offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for students. Scholarships are available for recent high school graduates, new students, current students and returning students. The total dollar amount of scholarship support is dependent upon the student’s financial need, current GPA, and enrollment status at the time the payment is made.

In an effort to better serve the students of Ocean County College, qualified applications from the fall semester will automatically be applied for the spring semester awards.

Something to smile about Books, Student fees, tech Fees all included in Tuition

Spring Award Application

  • Application Opens: 10/31/23
  • Application Deadline: 01/04/24

Please note that scholarships are applied to tuition & fees only.

If you received a scholarship for the fall semester, you do not need to reapply for the spring semester. The Foundation office will confirm your continued enrollment, the number of credits registered for the spring semester, and cumulative GPA after the fall semester is completed to determine the value of your future award. You will be notified in January with the amount you will be receiving, should you remain a qualified student at Ocean County College.

Please know, as in years past, the application period will be open for any students who did not receive a scholarship in the fall for the coming spring term, and we encourage all who are interested to apply. Additionally, if you are interested in applying for Graduating Awards, a separate application must be submitted once this application period is open.

Please Note: The OCC Foundation’s new online scholarship application allows students to be automatically matched to certain scholarships, but students may also be asked to click “Apply” for others. For “Apply” scholarships, please check the eligibility carefully.

There will also be a number of external scholarship opportunities posted throughout the year, please check back regularly.
