The Testing Center administers campus specific exams to current and prospective students as well as distance learning exams, and national standardized tests for the community at large. Many of these tests are available for either in-person or remote testing.

Placement testing is no longer required to enroll in basic, 100-level English and mathematics courses. However, we still offer the Accuplacer test for anyone who chooses to take it for these courses.

TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) for the Nursing Programs & TEAS Procedures

Guidelines for this test are set forth by the School of Nursing. Anyone who wants to enroll in the ADN Nursing program at OCC must take and pass the ATI TEAS test at OCC or take the ATI Remote Proctor-Nursing test through ATI Testing. All applicants need a passing score of 58.7% on the TEAS test in order to receive a date of completion.
