Ocean County College Main Campus

Student Center OCC
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 89.
  • Follow signs for Route 70 East/Airport Road.
  • Left on Route 70 East.
  • Continue 1/3-mile, turn Right on Shorrock Street.
  • Road curves left and becomes Beaverson Blvd; continue to end.
  • Turn Right on Brick Blvd.
  • (Route 549 South), continue 2.5-miles, turn Right on College Drive (lake and OCC monument on right).
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 82.
  • Route 37 East towards Toms River/Seaside Heights.
  • Continue approx. 1 mile (2 traffic lights).
  • Use the jughandle at the intersection to turn Left onto Route 549 North.
  • Continue 3 miles, use the jughandle to turn Left onto College Drive.
  • Local Access Road from the West: Route 9 to Church Road, east.
  • Continue 1.5 miles.
  • Turn Right onto H. George Buckwald Drive.
  • This access road ends at College Drive near Lot #2.
  • Route 70 to Lakehurst; at second traffic circle, Right onto Route 37 East to Toms River/Seaside Heights.
  • Continue 7 miles.
  • Use the jughandle at the intersection to turn Left onto Route 549 North.
  • Continue 3 miles, use the jughandle to turn Left onto College Drive.

OCC Manahawkin

  • Route 72 East past the Stafford Square Shopping Center in Manahawkin.
  • Follow signs to Route 9 North (jug handle exit on right).
  • Turn Left at the second traffic light onto Cedar Bridge Road.
  • Continue past the Southern Regional School District Buildings; OCC Manahawkin is ahead on left.
  • Take Route 72 East.
  • Follow LOCAL
  • Route 295 to Exit 34, Route 70 East.
  • Continue approx. 21 miles.
  • At traffic circle, turn Right onto Route 72 East.
  • Continue approx 23 miles.
  • Follow LOCAL
  • Garden State Parkway to Exit 63, Route 72 East – Manahawkin/Long Beach Island.
  • Follow LOCAL

Public Transportation

Students enrolled in courses at Ocean County College are eligible to sign-up for NJ Transit’s Mobile Student Monthly Pass. Sign up using your school email to receive 25% off the monthly rate.

Below is information for students looking to sign up for the NJ Transit’s Mobile Student Monthly Pass

To find the best route from your location to either of our campuses use the NJ Transit Trip Planner or visit our transportation page to find local NJ Transit bus routes.

  1. Login to Ocean Connect to enroll.
  2. Fill in all required fields on the registration form.
  3. Verify your full-time status and student (.edu) email address.
  4. Download the NJ TRANSIT App and buy your Mobile Student Monthly Pass.

After you sign up, the discounted student pass can be purchased directly on the mobile app.  Passes may be purchased from the 19th of the preceding month through the 10th of the month that the pass is valid.

If you are an existing Mobile Student Monthly customer, you need to reactivate your account at the start of each semester.

To reactivate follow the steps below:

  1. Login to Ocean Connect to reactivate your account.
  2. Login to NJ TRANSIT with your student (.edu) email and the password.
  3. Verify your full-time status and student email address.
  4. Buy your Mobile Student Monthly Pass.

When arriving at Ocean County College there will be a number of parking lots that provide parking to the public and students. Parking permits are not required to park on campus, but only the following lots are available for public parking:
