Q. What do you think is the most significant barrier to female leadership?
A. Self-deprecation.

Q. What woman inspires you and why?

A. My 97 year–old aunt is amazing.  Her strength, intelligence and belief in family are an inspiration.
Q. What is the one piece of advice you would give our current OCC students?
A. Vote as an educated citizen.
Q. What is one characteristic that you believe every leader should possess?  
A. Compassion.

Q. If we were to say to a bunch of people who know you, 'Give me three adjectives that best describe you,' what would we hear?
A. I would hope to be thought of as compassionate, kind and intelligent.

Q. Do you have a mentor? How have they influenced you?  
A. I have had the good fortune to be surrounded by caring mentors throughout my life.

I have had the foresight to listen to these mentors both young and old who have paved my way to a successful life and a successful career.
Q. What mantra or mission statement has helped you succeed?  
A. Observe and listen.
