TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Grunin Center for the Arts at Ocean County College welcomes 123 Andrés to the Main Stage for a high-energy, interactive musical show on Sunday, March 3 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $17-$12.
123 Andrés is the husband and wife team of Andrés and Christina, teaching artists creating music, books and live shows for children and families. They bring fresh, original songs that blend Spanish and English, with an eclectic mix of sounds from all corners of Latin America. 123 Andrés packs their show with positive vibes and energetic songs that get the whole family dancing and learning.
Each year they perform for tens of thousands of children and families at student matinee and family concerts. Their songs and videos are used in early childhood and elementary classrooms across the US and abroad, and they have charmed live audiences across the US and in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela and at several stops in Central America.
123 Andrés has released eight studio albums, garnering three Latin Grammy nominations and a Latin Grammy win for Best Children’s Music Album, as well as a Grammy nomination in the same category. Their three children’s books have been published by Scholastic. Their latest project is a new podcast currently in development, in collaboration with PBS Kids and PRX. 123 Andrés has been featured by The New York Times, NPR, the Boston Globe, Washington Post, CNN en Español, Univisión, Telemundo and SiriusXM.
